Ushi + John’s Indian Ceremony at Campovida

Weddings

Ushi and John had pretty much every weather pattern you can imagine in a single day with rain and momentary bursts of sun peeking through the clouds by the end of the evening and they were completely positive and joyful the whole way through. They gathered around their family and friends and had a traditional Indian ceremony which yes, did include John riding in on a horse, but none of these traditions were just because they should; they were each intentional and inspired by the rituals and spiritual traditions of Ushi’s family. We were so inspired by how incredibly heartfelt and genuine everyone was and we really felt like two radically different families were being joined together. We’re so glad we got to witness and capture all the colorful moments that happenened on their wedding day! Lauren + Ryan’s Los Angeles Wedding at Wattles Mansion
We were instant friends with Lauren and Ryan the moment we met. They're basically some of the coolest humans we've ever gotten the chance to work with. For their engagement session we explored the LACMA and discussed life as a creative, connected over our favorite 80's bands and our love for Northern Europe. Also our favorite quality is vulnerability with a couple. It's so important that we know the real story of you two and after they'd been together for TEN YEARS, there was a lot to share. And they shared it all, they gave us the good, bad and ugly, never trying to be anyone they're not. I know it sounds like  a simple thing but it's not an ...

Julia + Tahnee’s Backyard Wedding in Nevada City
Julia and Tahnee had it special from the start. They met in South America, studying abroad both learning to speak Spanish. They traveled through the continent together, first as friends and then as lovers. Fast forward five years, their love has only grown. Really. Relationships create a third presence, the "we" and J+T's relationship is magnetic, disarming everyone that surrounds them. They act like they started dating 3 months ago yet you can sense the wisdom and maturity in their relationship that only comes from time spent and intentional steps, growing together. Needless to say, we cried way too many times at their wedding and it was one ...

Full Moon Resort in Upstate New York Wedding
Tara and Jacob. Whew, what a couple. Equal parts profound, spiritual, playful and kind. We'd known them for quite some time and are so lucky to call them our dear friends. Tara actually sang in our wedding and has the most exquisite Appalachian-woman voice. Like her voice, their love is infectious, unique and inspiring. They'd been together for 10 years (Facebook let them know last month) when they got married and you can sense the foundation they've forged over many cities, states and lives together. They are truly a couple we admire and we feel so honored wed got to capture their beautiful love. See for yourself! --
